If you look at the data used by shortman.com.au and read 0.13% short sales, shorting seems to be really low.
But using all issued shares as a base for this calculation (DNK : 318.741.306 shares) doesn‘t make sense. Those shares are not in trade.
You better use the daily figures and the calculation looks quite different:27.01.2021: 622453 total trades incl. 49793 shares short (8%)
28.01.2021:311109 total trades incl. 46963 shares short (15%).
I do not believe, that the normal investor is doing such short trades.
To be blunt, a situation similar to GameStop, would not be good for DNK.All those extremes are dangerous and will never reflect the real worth of a company.
