I might have to watch it again but what I posted seemed to be what the reporter found. You may be right and it was merely hushed up in the Taliban era. My guess is that the reporter's right, having seen other doco's about the Taliban. They are very strict on religious beliefs, and I don't believe they would allow any open display of homosexuality.

Actually my nick is from a character in a michael cricton novel - but that fellow you mentioned sounds like an interesting fellow. :)
