drilling engineer comments ... From a UK BB.

"As a drilling engineer I just want to clarify that sand production is a pain, BUT and here's the big BUT, very easy to control. Recognition is key. Once its identified it's a 'doddle' to control, sand screens et al. The only time in my experience that it starts to upset people is when sand production starts mid field life and surface facilities have not allowed additional wear allowance in their lines, this is where it gets expensive. To my mind knowing this now means no surprises in the future.

Additionally I want to say that I'm incredibly impressed with the drilling campaign in Mauritania. Working in a brown field environment I look at this and think, wow that's the dogs bollocks!!! Batch drilling, two drill ships; it's a drilling engineers wet dream!!

    Cheers,

    Wypanb

PS. Keep in the back of your mind the huge share price hike that comes with actual hydrocarbon production, its going to be big using Melrose Resources and even Ramco before it had water problems as reference."

Any investor selling now is NOT A VERY GOOD INVESTOR.
