Many brokers were too bearish on CSR.
Fairly to say they were stubborn as past HY/FY results since Nov 2012 were better than consensus expectations every time

The result released yesterday was 20% better than brokers

Some brokers worried about aluminium price
the management think it was a floor.
Aluminium currently , Ingot premiums, which are paid to producers above the LME aluminium price, appear to have reached a floor at US$75 per tonne (Main Japanese Port ingot premium).

remember since 2008`s QE, housing market has been booming. indeed i like the management being conservative, as i think housing market is at the near top and construction will be slowed whatever by supply&demand, or fiscal policy. reduce investment, attractive divvy and buyback when price undervalued, i reckon they have done a great job for shareholders.
