The US National Institute of Health granted BTA with $5.6 for phase III Western Trials of LANI. I would not be suprised that NIH would be privy to all Japan phase III test data as a condition of this funding. Therefore, i would think, in an exacerbation of the swine flu or another mutation pandemic situation, Phase III for US FDA approval may be given using the 'emergency' provisions and based on the Japanese Phase III trial data, i.e. no Phase III for US. Under these circumstances LANI would hit the US and world markets a lot sooner than Naira indicates. I could be wrong but i could be right.
