“Here is the news. Daniel Andrews has sent Victoria broke”.
It has been officially confirmed in yesterday’s horror budget.
Despite raising new taxes and levy after levy Victoria’s debt is still rising, now to $171 billion, the highest state debt in Australia’s history.
When Andrews came into office the annual interest bill was $2 billion. In 2026/27 it will be $8 billion per year and with nothing to show.
Andrews and Pallas are completely incompetent and have zero credibility in financial matters.
A drovers dog could do a far better job. I could do it with my eyes shut.
This is a class warfare based budget with no hope, no growth initiatives and a complete capitulation of economic responsibility, saddling future generations to a state going backwards.
