It is both a good and a stupid question as many of the deaths, particularly those in aged care and other business setting will be investigated in that capacity. The security companies that put their hands up for the contract to do the quarantine contract will also be under the spot light for this. The contract brief and its adequacy is a further step removed then the decision makers.
Most of the deaths have come out of aged care and disability settings, both federal areas of responsibility and as has already been shown very pooly managed and organised, poorly regulated and very slow to take any action. In the wash up I think Dan will look a lot better than the federal govt. The almost complete lack of strategic planning in the Aged care is going to be a big focus as this was what has led to so many deaths- apparently the federal regulators have still only inspected very few of the businesses that have had covid deaths to see how they stack up with the regulations- these range from not for profit to multi nationals- there will be a lawyer picnic on litigating these businesses and investigating the behaviour of these business owners and governance structures.

One of the main problems was the politicking around the whole issue and the muppets from all parties were more interested in show boating and laying in the boot than doing their jobs. The feds bare the main responsibility for most of the deaths due to failures in aged care and disability which they regulate- the business people running these businesses will be done over but will take a long time to unpack!
