Hi Dave, I would take some issue with the whole premise of this thread. You would imagine that from the rhetoric, we are in the middle of an increasing crime wave. But how is that, when all of the actual evidence[apart from a few sensationalist news articles and anecdotes from the knuckle-draggers], suggests that youth crime is falling? Perhaps a better title for a thread might be. "Youth crime falling, could we do better if misguided economic policies which increase inequality ,and decrease opportunity, were reversed?'' cheers
