St Kilda has always been plagued by druggies and hookers. But north Richmond, regardless of anyone’s view on an injection room, the location is the most important criteria. A family friendly inner suburban area is clearly wrong and was stupid.

I go to the area south of Toorak Rd on a semi regular basis.

20 years ago, we lingered
went to Prahran Market on the cross of Commercial/Chapel.

For our safety we do not linger there.
The almost empty footpaths,
empty shops

Guards standing in some premises.
These are not solely my thoughts.
