16 of today’s 723 cases are resident in age care. Professor Paul Kelly said today that 58 new staff members are affected. He reiterate that in the vast majority of cases, those staff have been infected in the community.
community transmutation is the cause of infection in Agee care and while age care is not more under control (only 16 new cases) community transmission is definitely not under control (707 new cases)
