This is the biggest 1 week rise I have noted in the 2 years I have invested in MAK. Check the website fertilizer week.
DAP prices have rise approximately $50 per short ton or 10% in one week. There is a massive short on for DAP similar to the huge rises in 2008. Oct prices are at 575 up 60, Nov is 555 up 40 and Dec is 560 up 40. This will force buyers to lock in prices now, leading to an increase up to the 600 mark.
Note all prices are FOB NOLA.
