    I am not sure I agree with your commentary regarding shorts needing to be afraid.

    Given we have not been able to recover from very oversold conditions, the unresolved and still fluid situation in China, the uncertainty in the Chinese markets, Oil, Credit markets would all lead me to conclude that in fact any one who has not put In place some protection or is long would currently be (or at least needs to be) very afraid.
