100m came from the distance between BT01 and BT24. Either side contained no coal seam greater than an 'apparently cumulative coal seam' of 20m.
I assume no holes ended in coal so I'm not sure what lies beneath. Only BTE004 or BTE005 ended in coal but that's another story for another day.
I am genuinely disappointed with today's announcement. I expected more holes to reveal coal and a greater coal seam width given the effort spent on geophysical surveys etc. We ideally want kilometers of coal, not hundreds of meters. Unfortunately its the holes in between the hits that found nothing that I'm most disappointed about as this suggests lack of continuity. Perhaps the company is sinking a few deeper holes in between BT01 and BTE001.
Only time will tell.
