I have been waiting for the price to stabilize before buying DTE. Hard to say how low it will go but a better question is how much is it worth or will be worth? The reason for the SP fall is that first few gas production and sales is 6mo to 2y away. Study their last presentation carefully - cash flow positiveness is 4-5 yrs after first sale. This means that you won't see a profit announced for about 5 yrs. And obviously a lot of people think it is crazy to invest in shares that won't be profitable for 5 yrs.
Fact is, once cash flow is positive in 5 yrs they will deliver bumper profits every year well into the future for anyone buying at current SP.That is becaus they will have a resource worth 20-40 billion on very conservative estimates. One thing is sure - when they start paying dividends it will be multiples of 100% of current share price.
