Don't be fooled by institutional ownership. Institutions have their fingers in every pie. Look at OVR for eg. I'm not comparing OVR to DTE, but pay attention to the institutional ownership of OVR, top20 has big hitters like Macquarie bank, etc. etc. Maybe 80% held by top 20, yet it is a complete wreck at $2m market cap with $3 cash in the bank. Just saying you can't trust the institutional ownership in the top20.

Another important thing is that those institutions can lend their shares to another institution who when can sell all their shares and they won't have to report ceasing to become substantial holder because of ASIC reporting relief. You wont even know the insto has sold out until next annual report comes out and they are goners.
