ASX-listed Dart Mining has detected multiple and compelling geophysical anomalies at its Granite Flat copper-gold project in north-eastern Victoria which may represent large regions of disseminated porphyry-style mineralisation at depth. The largest anomaly unveiled can be traced over a 2-kilometre strike length and is closely associated with known granitic porphyry and aplite dykes.

Dart completed the high-tech induced polarisation and magneto-telluric, or “IP/MT” survey at Granite Flat in August following extensive reconnaissance exploration activities that included lithological and structural mapping, airborne LiDAR data acquisition and surface geochemical sampling.

The intrusive-related mineralisation at Granite Flat shows up in an immense 3km wide copper-gold geochemical anomaly, with accessory silver and bismuth mineralisation providing the typical pathfinders for porphyry systems.
