The site actually refers to those "legends" as "urban myths" and states, "These apocryphal stories are included as examples of Herculean Darwinian efforts. Be glad, be very glad, these people don't exist."

So the stories are legends as in "the legend of Robin Hood" not legend as in a the best of the best of the Darwin awards. Nonetheless the stories are very funny.
