Renewables are honestly the last thing I worry about. They are a positive. Anytime you have significant renewable build, you create a large demand for on-demand power gen. How is that demand met? The only solution today of scale is gas or coal. Britain seems damned determined to phase out coal. You see where this goes, right? There's a reason that there is a strong correlation between gas gen and renewables - leading some to believe that building out gas generating capacity allows for more renewables and vice-versa.
