    No, but people do cause you to have an accident - we got one after my son was cut up but a driver whose GPS told him to turn right, but omitted to mention that my son was alongside him at the time ... (it is a one-way street). He made a feeble attempt to claim it was my son's fault but there were too many witnesses. He then refused to give his address to us (as legally required) so we had to go to the police station to get it. So you get idiots like that for which a dash cam would make excellent sense.

    As far as the thread header - a mate is a police prosecutor (who has a dash-cam in his car). He would say it's clear the Commodore driver is a complete idiot (regardless of any previous provocation) and the dash-cam driver should just have stayed well clear.
