I haven't seen them removing Chinese or American drinks, when they were doing their share of nasty things around the world.
It is actually very racist move aimed at people of a particular nation. People in Russia are also suffering under Putin's regime, but that gets overlooked by politicians and media as it doesn't align with one-sided narrative that Russians are evil and the only to blame.
