"Eiffel’s in-house research programme has also confirmed that Eiffel is not only able to significantly reduce the size of insulin drug particles but is able to produce a new form of insulin that appears to be as stable as unprocessed commercially available product.
Eiffel has commenced further preclinical studies at AGT Biosciences to determine the optimal dose for use in clinical trials. These preclinical studies will be completed by late 2003, early 2004.
Subject to a full review of the animal studies, it is anticipated that clinical trials will commence mid 2004".
