Cougar secured options over two additional nickel projects in Western Australia in close proximity to the Murrin Murrin Operation and considered prospective for high-grade nickel-cobalt laterite mineralisation - the Pyke Hill Project and Waite Kauri North Project.
Cougar is to retain an 80% interest in the Cue Joint Venture following receipt of a notice of intent from joint venture partner St Barbara Mines Limited not to exercise its clawback right.
Both parties are now to contribute to joint venture expenditure in proportion to their joint venture interest.
