(AAA) in a report, "BHP's potash acquisition in Saskatchewan - Will this bring Allana into play?" (dated February 1, 2010). On January 28, 2010, Australia based mining major BHP Billiton plc (US:BHP) announced that it will purchase Athabasca Potash Inc (API) for about $341 million. BHP owns the Jensen project which is adjacent to Athabasca's potash property in Saskatchewan.

Allana's properties in Danakhil basin (Ethiopia) are adjacent to BHP's Ethiopian properties.
