I have not changed my holdings which are a large chunk of portfolio - and must admit disapointed with the apache deal. I think they got hoodwinked. Non the less if they can extract more from this field it will make up - and will definately help in fast tracking Beibu.
2007 will be ROCs year. Might even be time to top up around Christmas. North Sea comes on, then around March the speculators will start moving in on the Cabinda drill.
I am convinced this block will throw up the 600mbo identified in seismic. One field is a dead certainty. It will be cracker time following the drill which will probably run over 9 months and a 3-4 wells.
Got irons in Baraka at the moment - so will be coming down of this just in time for ROC.
