TACOMA, Wash., Sep 07, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Evergreen Fire & Security (Evergreen), the leading U.S. based systems integration company for high-security Government and military installations, today announced that the Evergreen Team has been awarded a $697M maximum value small business prime contract to provide force protection and early warning capabilities at mobile, temporary, and permanent U.S. Army installations around the world.

The contract was awarded by the U.S. Army RDECOM Natick Contracting Division, for the Product Manager - Force Protection Systems (PM-FPS). It is a three year base, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract award with a total maximum dollar value (for both large contractors and small businesses) of $697 million with a $300 million option. The Evergreen Team, along with seven other companies, was awarded the small business portion of the PM-FPS contract.
