FLIR Systems, Inc. announced on September 6 that the company has been awarded the Force Protection Omnibus contract through U.S. Army Product Manager, Force Protection Systems (PM-FPS), which has a maximum value of $997 million.

Under this contract, FLIR will provide best-in-class integrated systems, associated services and products to support inside-the-wire and outside-the-wire integrated base defense operations. Work under this contract will be performed primarily out of the FLIR facilities in Alpharetta, GA, and Elkridge, MD.
