now the big concept..... renewable power suffers from being momentary and unreliable, when the sun don't shine, when the wind don't blow it don't go........ by using the pre-existing grid to connect power to batteries (think thousounds if not millions of car batteries via smart grid tech & you can think of all these batteries as essentially one) you have the perfect marraige..... CFU type tech will be part of it... so we hope... but it will have to find a place in a world of off-peak coal & renewables... it will have to be economic in it's own right (or with appropriate aka competetive with all other types of gov't incentives)
