Re Saudi vs Iraq, I guess the big difference is the administration is not anti-US in Saudi, even if many of the citizens seem to support violent anti-US activities.
Why do they do this? It surely must be because Saudi Arabia is avidly Islamic and they see the US as acting against muslims.
