Personally I'm disappointed to read from these postings that Dave is going to exit the company (to be confirmed when I read the announcement)
I came into this stock when it had just changed its name from Tangiers and Dave and Paul were team 88e and then, and since then, its been a hell of a ride, one I've enjoyed immensely even after being P'Off'd after some poor announcements. From no knowledge at all of oil and gas to now a learned knowledge from Dave's management of our beaut little company and from knowledgeable posters on this forum, I think I will miss the ups and downs. I would have liked to have made some money out of this, certainly I've learned a lot about trading as well, maybe if I park my holding it will come good in the future. Personally, I think we just need to reflect on where we are today. We have a reworked Project Icewine lease base which has reduced our rental costs and we have the farm out of circa Charlie probably next year, (funding permitting and that's a worry) Our eminent drill of Merlin 1 and Harrier 1 are on trend to existing discoveries which has de-risked the drill considerably and the recent Umiat purchase is a smart move given Linc flow tested it and if it gets developed it has access through our Project Icewine infrastructure. Peregrine and Umiat together give significant value so all is not lost by any means. The big issue is the current USA administrations stance on oil drilling on Federal Alaskan land !! So, the question for me is "will I have the nerve to push the button on a decent purchase as the share price falls to leverage myself into a better position......!!, tomorrow will tell.
