PFG's actions are out of pride not spite, the former precipitates the latter.
Those effing idiots along with their Trojan horse CFO thought they could optimise the company. But we all know what happened there.
So never underestimate pride unfortunately, to hand it back is to say, we royally effed this up and DM had it right all along, our Trojan horse turned out to be a lame duck and was most likely more in it for his own ambition. In this doing they have crippled a company, soured vendor relationships and destroyed shareholder value, which they were a major holder of.
Their scorched earth policy burned them as much as anyone else and if there is any justice I hope they can be legally taken to talk over this as I would be astonished if they didn't bend some rules along the way.
