after reading you all, particularly those posing confidently that the LNP will walk into Govt, I can't help wondering whats in the Qld water supplies..... are all Qlders equally deranged and brimming with ambition of the LNP? mad baby.....
@bacci. makes some solid points. and the LNP has a massive win if they might gain Govt from the Labs. are they up to the job? If Crisafulli is that much 'on the nose' particularly in his own seat, and leadership makes the biggest difference in elections, how the blazes can any expect the LNP to win?
the decimation of the Libs in so many jurisdictions has been no accident and not really due to Labor excellence hahhehe. most elections are lost rather than won by beating the incumbent. and imo this is the point. the LNP have gone so far over the edge into far right twilight zone that they've lost appeal to their base. Dutton exemplifies the acceptance of the loss to the teals in 22 and so infected the support with a cynicism that comes from the attitude to women, climate/environment and integrity - the 3 things that the Climate 200 holds as the primary policies.
but as far as I'm aware C200 aren't challenging state elections (yet), but the mood inspired by the fed Libs extends to the states in many ways.
if LNP are to win, Crisafulli must be a solid leader first and foremost. does anyone think he can pull it off?
