No, the naivety is that small minded people think its simply a matter of turning the tap on and off. Not withstanding the huge investments undertaken to achieve increased supply, the notion that IO supply is simply a linear production line on a chart really highlights the lack of comprehension on the subject.
Fortunately these companies are not run by back-yard economists with only a basic understanding of "Economics 101".
