Free will, opaline, You do have valid points, but, this guy is a proven liar, trained by a terrorist organization, how can you say he wasn't a threat, he was trained by Al Q, he was in Afganistan in full battle gear as I believe, he cowered in the face of a massive onslaught from the coalition forces (please correct me if I am wrong) they found him cowering in a bunker.
What if his team had been the agressors, would he respect any captured prisoners rights if he was part of an Al Q team that had captured one of the coalitions soldiers? Would he stand up for the prisoner's rights if the captors wanted to decapitate the captured soldier? would he have been worried about the law then? Would he have given the same mercy?
now you can argue all you like about the justice system and a fair trial, fact is many criminals, rapists and conmen have walked free under our "fair" justice system. The guy is a whacker with no credibility in my eyes, this is a perfect example of what the left wing ideologists represent, absurdity in it's purest form, a point of fruitful discussion on how "unfair" the justice system is to such individuals over their Lattes, god, don't we just love them!!!
