Chuck - have you read Leigh Sales book Detainee 002?

It's a very good account of what Hicks was up to - and Leigh reviewed his book last week and was quite critical of the omissions and lack of him taking responsibility.

I have also read a number of other reviews (Sally Neighbour included) and none of them are supportive, all suggesting that it's self serving. He has some glaring contradictions, particularly about why he had "no choices" when clearly he had many - such as having to go back to Afghanistan to retrieve his passport.
