I think you are misreading the news mate. ....this is actually bullish news. MYER are systematically getting rid of the shit retailers, shit products and getting in the ones that sell and the ones that their customers demand...
The reason sales have been dropping off is because MYER has stuck with a lot of these shitty Aussie brands that no one wants and they probably have difficulty getting rid of them due to licenses and all sorts of red tape. Them going belly up is a blessing in disguise.
Don't forget also Sephora is inside MYER
