from email sent to FMF holders:

"The Directors of City Pacific do not endorse any unsolicited offer by Mr David Tweed or any company associated with him to acquire your units in the Fund. Companies associated with Mr David Tweed have previously made unsolicited offers to investors in numerous Australian companies to acquire their shares at a significant discount to their value.

The Directors consider the value of the units in the Fund to be $1 and are committed to ensuring that the value of the Fund is preserved by completing projects in the ordinary course of the Fund's operations."

If you dont know who Tweed is, look him up on Wikipedia.
The fact that Tweed is after the FMF suggests that he knows that they hold good value in the future. Agree or disagree? Any other thoughts?
