Puzzled that a fair minded person like yourself is not convinced by human induced climate change argument.

Wouldn't it be surprising if after oxidising 30 billion barrels of oil a year, seven billion tons of coal and vast amounts of gas plus the wood burnt by about 2 billion people plus our animals herds there was not an effect of some sort?

This is not intended as a smarty pants crack, but simply genuine surprise when we see the evidence about us every day.

We also live in a different world. Once England was thickly forested from Scotland to Kent. Greece and its islands were all covered with pines. The Sahara was smaller. The Phonecians were prosperous in a semi green Tunisia. The US prairie is now largely vanished and the plough land about two feet lower after the release of the soil carbon over 180 years of intensive agriculture.

We need renewables and we need nuclear power.
