Hope so, but to me it seems like we're in no man's land at the moment. Fundamentals continue to look great, but the ongoing HFT campaign is slowly lowering the SP and the intraday volatility it has been causing is, IMO, keeping new buyers away. They have stacked the sell side and are keeping the buy side very thin, and appear to be willing to sell through buy orders just to lower the SP. ASX and ASIC short data are consistently irreconcilable lately, too, so someone is purposely failing to report their short selling activities. Worst case scenario IMO is that someone has their eyes on Van Eck's holdings and is looking to pry them loose by continuing to drag down the SP until the end of November. Would be a great buying opportunity but I really hope it doesn't come to that.
