Loki got to say I take a bit of heart from what I thought was my complete ineptitude when I look at at his return during the past year, from memory -35%. For a pro, and he does pick some winners, it must be damn hard work if even he cant get above the + line.
Like you I have resisted both the SPP and averaging down on AAM. Put the dough into BCN instead.
