This is the bottom of the recent oil route. The next stage will be consolidation.
Mr Lamm is using NGE's cash to position himself (I suppose as a fund manager would) in undervalued oil/gas stocks.
Two Words......
Takeover Premium.
A win/win for NGE shareholders.
No takeover...well if your banking on a bottom, the worst that could happen is sideways for a bit.
Karoon Gas could easily be a T/O target.
Maybe its a bit far fetched? Maybe I just blew the lid on someone's low profile to accumulate?
