Weak jobs on Friday initiated a grind higher. Extremely hard to trade NFP because markets are either flat waiting then digesting the result. And being in Australia cant stay up all night.
Friday on the DAX was looking for a move up to 12645 for a sell and it hit and gave up 70 odd points. Was hoping to hit in the first hour but was in the second so I only had a nibble.
Not seeing too much on the DAX pre-market but it has made a move for Fridays closing gap at 12610. A trade I am going to look at is a move up in the first 5mins to 12650 and then see if the first 5min bar breaks to the downside and target the pivot closing gap area for 30-40 points. Stops above 12650.
