    Patterns are great in normal markets but we aren't in normal markets. Haven't been for five years.

    Yellen has made her point unambiguously clear. There is a good chance that "a considerable length of time" might be much earlier if the US economy improves slightly above expectation. Global markets will be caught.

    She can't make the obvious any plainer and no charts will predict when she moves rates. Markets are ignoring her.

    As I have said, for me there are only two factors that are moving markets: rising US rates and EZ deflation. It's even worth planing a trading strategy around those two facts.

    But, like Yellen is being ignored so will this trading opportunity be ignored by many. Can't be helped I guess.
