Day of Shame, page-6

I have been to Bali many times, and was "arrested" last time I was there, and had to pay an "on the spot fine" to a police officer, not once but on two separate occasions. My crime was stopping at an intersection on a motorbike! When I asked to be taken to the holiday police, I was told no, I had to hand over all the money I had or else it would be very bad for me. Never again will I step foot in Bali. What was once a beautiful idyllic country has now become filled with corruption and rip off merchants, and now we can add murderers as well. What a shame that the other Bali prisoners will lose two advocates for good in their system. I believe they should have been given a lengthy prison sentence for sure, but they have done so much to try and redeem themselves, and this has meant nothing. Good luck Bali, and goodbye from me.
