WES are paying $1.1bn for 22,500t of LCE ($770m - 60m cash + 368m capex) = $48k/t
ALB are paying $2.0bn for 50,000 of LCE ($1.6bn +0.4bn capex) = $40k/t
For those that thought the MIN/ALB was a "one off" transaction and that ALB paid too much ... WES will be paying more on a $/LCE basis.
It appears a new price benchmark has been set !
