If you short term Tianqi have a habit of paying elevated prices, paid US$65 ps for 24% stake in SQM, 4.1 bill, that investment now worth 2.1 bill.
Ganfeng have spent $200 mill of the $440 mill HKSE IPO funds, they will need to be re-investing a fair chunk of their 2018 profits (~$1.2 bill) to get a decent stake in PLS.
