The 38m drop you are looking on today's shortman is for the 31st May. From what I can see only 3.76m shares were traded that day on the ASX. I would be very surprised if anything like 34m shares were traded on Chi that day so I think we can pretty safely assume this is fake news from ASIC or ASX who provide information to shortman.
38m shares bought is about a week's worth of trading (at that time). If it happened in one day it would be highly likely to result in a green day, not red like it was.
