A reputable poster here indicated that your shares in PLS cannot be shorted without
your permission. Such is not the case in U.S. markets. In those markets you have to
advise your broker that your shares are not available to be short sold. A good mechanism
to use if you don't want your shares shorted is to put in a sell order at say $10. In the U.S.,
once you do that the shares cannot be short sold. In the U.S. markets short selling has existed
forever and is an integral part of the markets. With PLS, the shorts are winning right now because
the price of lithium is declining. Stating the obvious, unless the company puts out really good news
or the lithium market improves, we will remain vulnerable. The vulnerability the shorts have right now
is a hostile takeover of the company at an attractive price or the asset sale is done at a very attractive
price.
