An oversupply they say: P'fffffffffffffffft. Reading Bloomberg in the wee small hours and Toyota have just done a big deal with CATL to secure batteries - citing a shortage of battery metals. They (Toyota) are also gearing up to do another deal with Panasonic.
And Renault have just done a mega $ partnership deal with a Chinese EV mob, so they can supply EVs to the EU to fit in with the new emission rules.
Also, the new EU Commissioner is playing hardball on the emissions rules. Convert to EVs or walk (my interp).
All over Europe ICE car sales are falling like a rock, and there are many analysts pointing to the fact that folks are gearing their future car purchases towards EVs.

So don't be fooled by this little hiatus. The transition towards EVs of all persuasions is still moving along at lightning speed , and reports of a lithium death are much exaggerated.
