Most people I know use their cars to commute to and from work.
My personal commute distance per week is 310ish kms.
Any tesla could do that and only need a partial charge once a week. I think the top of the range tesla s plugs itself in so ZERO time wasted topping up the battery. Even plugging in by hand would only take SECONDS.
On longer trips most people would be happy to strech their legs and have some refreshments while waiting for battery top up.
I’ll be happy to “waste time” to reap all the OTHER benefits.
