    Hey moowee,

    When I’m on $1,000,000 a year ++

    When the SP tanks to a fraction of its high under my leadership....

    When there is a very real possibility of the company going under.....

    When the company is doing a CR at the same price as years ago and a fraction of the highs....

    When the company is letting people go just before Xmas...

    You know what.....

    I would VERY strongly consider doing it....but I value my reputation.

    I also COULD NOT take the bonus then get up in front of a group of guys/girls and fire them just before Xmas.

    I (like many here), have forgone wages etc., just to get a business off the ground (whilst paying employees), so again I’m not sure....but I would like to think I would knock it back.

    Oh and I’m a long way from being altruistic, but I’m (hopefully), a long way from being the type of man who takes the cash.

    BTW, I’ve read all your posts and I think you would have a hard time taking a bonus in one hand whilst firing people just before Xmas with the other..

    P.S. I know other CEOs are dogs, that’s why I try not to invest in their companies.

    Anyway, I hardly think you will win this debate by reframing the saying too....
